    About the presenter:

    Dr David Hilford is a Brisbane vitreo-retinal surgeon, subspecialist ophthalmologist. When studying medicine David was awarded Dux of the course and the University Medal.

    David consults in Central Brisbane on Wickham Terrace, and at Chermside and Strathpine. He also undertakes retinal clinics in Toowoomba. David operates primarily at the Brisbane Day Surgery.

    In the past David enjoyed pursuits such as travelling and scuba diving but now leads a more adventurous life being taxi driver, basketball coach and all-round parent to he and his wife’s five loved children.

    David proudly supports Macular Disease Foundation Australia and has been a member of our Medical Advisory Committee for over ten years.
