Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is the leading cause of blindness in Australians. If you’re 50, you’re at increased risk of developing AMD. Understanding AMD and the risks is important for all Australians.

We’ve produced this DL-sized flyer as a short summary of AMD. It includes the major risk factors, diagnosing AMD, and the treatment options. We also have a longer, more comprehensive booklet on AMD available.

The flyer can be viewed online, downloaded or ordered free from MDFA.
