    Mental health, coping & vision loss: webinar

    This webinar, part of MDFA's community education series, will be presented by a clinical psychologist.

    In this webinar, entitled Understanding Mental Health and Coping in Vision Loss, Dr Bonnie Sturrock will discuss her research into the impact vision loss has on quality of life and mental health. She will also consider strategies you can use to cope with changes in your vision.

    About the presenter

    Dr Sturrock is a clinical psychologist who works in private practice in Melbourne. She’s a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), APS Clinical College, International Society for the Study of Personality Disorders, and Association for Contextual Behavioural Science.

    Dr Sturrock works with clients with vision loss, low vision, and blindness who have experienced changes in their quality of life and mental health. Her clinical and research interests also include depression, anxiety and suicidal and self-harming behaviour.
