Since 2011 Macular Disease Foundation Australia has committed $2.8 million to its Research Grants Program. This program supports world-leading Australian researchers who are working to reduce the incidence and impact of macular degeneration and ultimately, find a cure for this chronic disease.
Additionally, the Foundation undertakes its own research and commissions research which contributes valuable knowledge about the impact of macular disease, risk factors, treatments and more.
Macular Disease Foundation Australia relies on fundraising to support this important research effort.
