Macular Disease Foundation Australia thanks Specsavers for their support of the Foundation through its Specsavers Community Program throughout June.
Over 30 Specsavers stores across Australia are helping to raise funds for the Foundation by allocating their local Specsavers Community Program charity box to the Foundation for one month, starting June 1, 2014. For every pair of glasses sold during June, customers can choose to donate to the Macular Disease Foundation Australia.
Macular Disease Foundation Australia Chief Executive Officer, Julie Heraghty says “The Foundation is pleased to have Specsavers on board to support the cause through its local Specsavers Community Program in addition to raising awareness of the importance of having an eye test and macula check as part of Macular Degeneration Awareness Week activities.”
