Macular Degeneration is the leading cause of blindness and severe vision loss in Australia. MDaffects one in seven Australians over the age of 50 and the incidence increaseswith age. It is often referred to as Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD).
Bymaking a donation to the Macular Degeneration Foundation, you can help theFoundation to reduce the incidence and impact of Macular Degeneration in Australiathrough education, awareness, research, support services and representation.
The Foundationrelies on support from Federal and State Governments, corporate sponsorship, philanthropictrusts and Foundations, private industry and members of the community.
Allservices provided to clients by the Foundation are free of charge, so yourdonation will be valued greatly. Your donation can help educate Australiansabout this disease, save a person’s sight, or change the life of someone who isblind or vision impaired due to Macular Degeneration.

You can make adonation over the phone with your credit card by phoning the MacularDegeneration Foundation on 1800 111 709and speaking with one of our friendly staff.

Regular Donations
Youcan also choose to make a regular donation to the MD Foundation monthly,quarterly, six monthly or yearly. Your credit card will be charged with adesignated amount at each period. To register to become a regular donor, pleasefill in the donation form and tick the appropriate box.
NOTE: All donations over $2.00 are tax deductible and a receipt will be issued for all donations. |
