One Night in Emerald City
MD Patron Ita Buttrose joins a cast of eleven notable celebrities in a world first charity event presented by The CorriLee Foundation. David Williamson is recreating his 1987 classic, Emerald City, with a 2010 adaptation commenting on current affairs, politics and popular culture.
In this unique one night only reading of the play, One Night In Emerald City, the celebrity cast, who come from a variety of backgrounds, will take to the stage in support of a charity of their choice.
Directed by Jonathan Biggins, cast members include: Robin Nevin, Ian Thorpe, John Singleton, Ita Buttrose, Sally Singleton, Mikey Robins, Fiona O'Loughlin, Lucy Bell, David Field and Brendan "Jonesy" Jones.
This is a truly special event with proceeds benefiting fourteen worthy charities; one of which will be the Macular Degeneration Foundation, nominated by our patron Ita Buttrose as her charity to benefit from the event.
